What's different from the 2022 version?

A new, updated version of the Farpoint / Fairview 55 has been available since 2026. The main differences are:

• material is now nylon instead of polyester
• approx. 120g lighter
• Laptop sleeve opens at the top instead of on the side 
• no small mesh bag on the hip belt
• attachment strap for day pack 

How it differs from the Fairview 40

The main pack on the Fairview 55 is basically the same as the Fairview 40, but there are a few little tweaks:

• There’s no laptop sleeve in the big bag — that’s in the day pack.
• The main pack is roughly 200g lighter.
• The inside mesh pocket is a bit shorter on the 55.
• You get an extra inner side mesh pocket.

Alternatively, you can buy the Fairview 40 and the day pack separately and mix ’n’ match if you fancy.
