The personal data that you provide to us are processed in accordance with German law and are not disclosed to third parties unless required by law or expressly requested. You may request access to your stored personal data, submit corrections or demand that your data be deleted. In addition, you have the right to restrict processing, to object to further processing and to request the stored data in a machine-readable format. You also have the right to be forgotten. Complaints may be addressed to the competent supervisory authority, the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (external).

Our systems use standard server logs that store the time and date of access together with information sent by your browser, such as the requested server resource, browser type and operating system, referrer URL and your IP address. The IP address is stored in both its original form and an anonymised form; the original address is retained for no more than 14 days. The use of the logs, the temporary storage of the original IP address and the compilation of statistics are based on our legitimate interest (within the meaning of Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR) in detecting abuse, analysing errors, planning capacity, billing and obtaining operational data in order to ensure secure and smooth server operation.

The webshop uses only essential cookies required for its functionality, such as language settings, user login and ordering. Most browsers accept cookies by default. Cookies can be rejected in your browser’s security settings. If you do not allow cookies, certain features of our site may be unavailable and some pages may not display correctly.

When you contact us—for example by telephone, email or via the contact form—we receive and process personal data such as your name, telephone number or email address. We process these data solely to handle your enquiry (Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR).

When you place an order, we process your name, address, telephone number, email address and other order information to fulfil the order (Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR).

You may create an account in our webshop. The personal data you provide and your orders are stored with the account for future orders, customer support and warranty processing. You can also use your account to leave reviews and engage with the Packing Panic Community. Creating an account is not a prerequisite for placing an order (Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR).

We store personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which they are processed, or until any consent given is withdrawn. Where statutory retention periods—such as commercial or tax regulations—apply, certain data may be stored for up to ten years.

For order processing we use payment and shipping service providers that have their own privacy policies:

Where necessary for handling an order we pass on your name, address and telephone number to shipping or payment service providers (Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR).

For our community login you can use third-party providers such as Google, Facebook, Twitter or GitHub to sign in to our services. When you connect, we collect your name and email address and link them to your respective third-party account to create and manage your account (Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR).

The data are processed by headissue GmbH. Should a separate legal entity be created to operate the Packing Panic Shop, you agree that your data may be transferred to the new entity. You will be informed in such a case.
