Our opinion

The Freefly Duffle Bag is ideal for a short trip over the weekend or as a second bag for long journeys. Thanks to its small weight and pack size, you can easily store the bag and have it ready to hand when you need it, e.g. as a gym bag, for shopping or for a day trip. The bag is water-repellent and keeps the contents dry even in the rain. That's good, because you don't need additional waterproof bags for your clothes. There are two side pockets for organising small items. One side pocket is waterproof. The second side pocket has a mesh so that you can stow things here that need to dry or ventilate.

We think it's a shame that the shoulder strap is not detachable. When we use the bag as an elegant weekender and hold it in our hand, we don't want a strap dangling around.

The bag is well made and uses very high-quality material to achieve the low weight. Speaking of weight: we have not included the separate mesh bag in our weight specification, as we always state the minimum usable weight.
